This type of DC electrical equipment is intended for use in overhead electric locomotives. The peculiarity of these models is the presence of IP43 protection, which protects the electric motors from the ingress of water, dust and foreign objects.

DTRN design:

An anchor assembled on presses and driven by bearing mechanisms. The anchor includes:

Shaft made of especially simple steel;
Collector;
A package of plates made of electrical steel, which are made by cutting for subsequent reliable pressing onto the shaft;
Sections consisting of insulated conductor products.
Brush mechanism, consisting of an adjustable traverse assembly, securely attached to the frame.

The stator of the magnetic system of electric motors is fixed in a housing in which special closing windows are provided - openings that serve for ventilation and maintenance access. Window dampers are made of multi-layer filtration material. The housing is equipped with a front shield, coils with poles and a terminal box to which the connecting circuit wires are connected.

DTRV

Certified explosion-proof mining transport engines DTRV are reliable, advanced devices for use in mine battery-electric locomotives, as well as in conditions with difficult climatic and temperature conditions and the presence of permissible dust and gas standards. The advantages of the DRTV model include the increased tightness of the IP54 housing, achieved through the precise fit of all parts of the electric motor.

The structural elements of the DTRV electric motors are similar to the DTRV electric motors described above, with the exception of the presence of a sealed IP54 housing and the absence of a drain hole and traverse.
